0.6.4 Highlighting Different Summary Levels

Version 1.5 March 2013                                    Previous Version

                                                                                Additional Source

Each set of conclusions or statements that summarise or justify these global beliefs is highlighted in a unique way so that we can emphasise what is important, and promote debate.

We have 8 conclusions at the highest ‘diamond’ level, and justify these in Parts 1 to 8.

X.        We have 1 statement for each knowledge domain: Philosophy, Science, History, Religion, Art, Personal Practice and Politics, plus one overall Vision statement.

Each of the top level conclusions is expanded and justified by up to about seven lower level statements.  These ‘gold level’ conclusions are explained and justified in a dedicated Chapter.

X.Y      Medium length – about 100 words – up to 4 lines

Each of these is again broken down into even more detailed ‘silver level’ statements, which are explained and justified in a dedicated section.

X.Y.z   Perhaps longer, more detailed, breakdowns of level points.

Each of these is broken down into even more detailed ‘bronze level’ statements, which are explained and justified in a dedicated sub-section.

X.Y.z.w           More statements breaking these down even further.

We also constructed a briefer gold version (platinum?) to fit on a single A4 page, shown as:

42        Very short – Twitter size – one liners.

Ultimately we get to explanations of the evidence or reasoning for our beliefs and values which are presented in plain text.  Secondary comments and observations about these conclusions and explanations are highlighted separately as we explain below.
