The method we use to discover the truth is critical.  It must be based on reason and the available evidence, and it must include a dose of common sense.  Even this method is subject to review.  Links to the relevant literature will be inserted when appropriate, and when time permits.

Isaac Newton (the brilliant English mathematician and scientist from the 17^th century) said: “If I have seen further than others it is because I stand on the shoulders of giants”.  Pablo Picasso (the famous Spanish artist from the 20^th century) said “Mediocre artists borrow, great artists steal”.

 We must use the work of others.

Bertrand Russell (the famous English philosopher of the 20^th century) said,

“… every philosopher of whom I treat is better known to some others than to me.  If, however, books covering a wide field are to be written at all, it is inevitable, since we are not immortal, that those who write such books, should spend less time on any one part than can be spent by a man who concentrates on a single author or a brief period.  …  There is, however, something lost when many authors cooperate.  If there is any unity in the movement of history, if there is any intimate relation between what goes before and what comes after, it is necessary, for setting this forth, that the earlier and later periods should be synthesised in a single mind.  … To bring out such relations is one of the purposes of this book.”

So I’m boldly, humbly, attempting to synthesise all knowledge domains in a single mind.

Nearly all of the ideas and information presented here comes from other people.  This is how the human race progresses.  I’ve tried to cite the main sources.  Any omissions will be corrected as soon as we are notified of them.  The inevitable omissions and errors in interpretation are of course all mine!

I suspect these pages do contain some unique insights, but these are mostly restricted to explaining how most religions don’t give us the answers they think they do, and in providing a comprehensive overview of all knowledge domains as a reasonable global way of life.
