8.0.5.1 Rational, Natural Service Obligations

Here we consider whether followers of this Reasonable Global Way ought to be involved in community service, with others or as a recognisable group, and in what areas of service.

How we go about this can be explored further in the future.Â Our initial focus should be focussed on our core message:

Â· research into current social problems, publication and promotion of relevant material, and critiquing social analyses and policies at global and national levels.

Â· rational and natural education in all knowledge domains, consistent with this Way;

Â· advocacy for human rights, based on the values of this Way;

Â· fostering our own community and pastoral care within the community.

8.0.5.1 Rational Natural Service Obligations

We can quietly as individuals follow our personal practices, as they impact on the community, and as we participate in politics, with or without referring to this Way.

On the other hand we can consciously and assertively participate in joint action with other organizations or with followers of this Way in community service and politics.

Finally, we can self consciously join together as followers of this way to offer pastoral care to other followers or potential followers of this Way, and promote education in this Way.
